The Software Assurance Program provide uninterrupted access to support services for maximum production readiness. The program serves both enterprise and integrator customers, and applies to all Inlite Research products.
Benefits - Inlite's Software Assurance Program provides the following services and benefits
- Priority Inlite updates to fix issues with Microsoft Windows updates, hotfixes and new versions
- Priority Inlite software updates delivering bug fixes and performance improvements
- On demand software downloads of any release level requested2
- Priority phone support from 09:00 to 17:00 PST
- Priority email support
- License recovery services for crashes and system rebuilds1
- License inventory reports on demand
- Technical analysis of your image files
- Expert advice for improvement of image quality and barcode recognition
- Assistance with software integration questions
Initial Support - the purchase of a license entitles the customer to:
- Benefits of the Software Assurance Program for the first year after purchase
- Purchase at the same time two (2) more years at a 15% discount for a total of three (3) years support
Follow On Support - After the initial support period expires, the program may be renewed under the following terms:
- All licenses assigned to a customer are renewed together
- The termination date for the renewal plans is set to 31 Dec of the current year
- Renewals from Jul to Dec are extended to 31 Dec of the following year
- The base fee for one (1) year of support for one license is 25% of the license list price, calculated by the number of months from the end of the current program to the new end date
- The total fee per license will not exceed 75% of the license list price
- A volume based discount is applied to the sum of the program renewal fees
- Invoices will be issued automatically
Notes:
1 License recoveries are limited to 3 per system per year and are subject to Inlite approval
2 The default release is the one whose availability date precedes the expiration of the program for this license. The customer may also request specific back dated releases.
