Data Panel

The Data Panel holds fixed, sample data that VBD uses to create the Active Barcode.

 TIP:

• See  Data Length and Content  

• If you plan to use the data to name a file, it should not contain characters that are not legal in the windows filespec.

How to enter Binary Data?

You can enter binary data in three ways:

1. Load from binary file

2. Paste the data from a text editor that can display binary data

 TIP:  The Text Box treats the binary zero character (0x00) as an end-of-text indicator.  To  

• To enter binary zero use:  \0.   

• To enter "\" double it:        \\

Manipulate your Data

• SAVE your data for further testing and evaluation: click and assign a name to the data file.

• RECALL the data for reuse: click .

• COPY selected portions of the data: click
